  • Requirements
    Feline FVRCP and Rabies Vaccination required. Only your veterinarian may make an exemption for this due to age or vaccine reactions. Vaccines must be given at least five days before boarding if not previously up to date. Documentation from your veterinarian must be on file before reservation. Reminder: It is the pet owner’s responsibility to have their pet on monthly flea treatment. Any sign of fleas on your pet will be treated with CAPSTAR. A $15 fee per dose (+$5 pill adminstration/dose) will be the responsibility of the pet owner. More than one dose may be necessary. All pets from the same home will be treated. There is an additional $50 cleaning fee per suite and your pet will be isolated to their room during their stay.
  • Do you supply food?
    Yes – we supply Purina Indoor Cat Chow and Friskies wet food. If your cat is on a special diet you will need to supply enough food for their visit. We recommend that cats stay on a similar diet to what they are used to at home.
  • What if my cat needs medication?
    If your cat is on medication we administer topical, oral and injectable for a nominal charge. You will need to supply their medication, dosage and any instructions on how to administer their medication. All cats that require Insulin or thyroid medications must have been on current dosage for two or more weeks prior to boarding, which also includes any changes of dosage. Pet owner must provide a new sterile needle and syringe for each dose as needed (some extras please). It is an extra charge of $6 per injection, $5 per pill and $3 per topical and $1 per medication mixed with food. Reminder: It is the pet owners responsibility to have their pet on monthly flea treatment. If fleas/flea dirt are found a $15 CAPSTAR treatment will be given immediately for each cat within household (+$5 pill administration fee), they will be isolated to their suite during their stay and there will be a $50/suite cleaning fee.
  • Can you pickup and dropoff my cat from my house?
    Yes. Please call to schedule ahead of time. There will be a charge for this service based on your location. Only available during business hours.
  • What are your hours, prices and policies?"
    OUR RATES: all pricing based on pickup before 12 p.m. Please call (941) 833-CATS (2287) for your pricing based on length of stay and number of cats. Discounts apply for 2+ cats and reservations over 31 days. Our prices are all-inclusive for house wet and dry foods, litter, treats, toys, bedding, playtime and hands on care! (Prescription and specialty diets are not included and need to be supplied by the pet owner for the length of stay required). You may bring your own food, bedding, toys, etc. if desired. Pick up after 12pm starts the next night of boarding fees. A $50 non-refundable deposit per suite/condo is required to hold your reservations for: – Holidays: Memorial Day weekend, July 4th, Labor Day weekend, Thanksgiving (Thursday-Monday pickup), Christmas and New Year’s Eve – First Time Visitors - Deposits will be applied to your account upon pickup To reserve a boarding date, client shall pay to My Cat Nap Cottage, upon execution of verbal agreement, a non-refundable reservation fee (deposit) in the amount of $50/cat. Client understands and agrees that My Cat Nap Cottage will not book other reservations for this unit during this time. In the event that the Client cancels the reservation or fails to show on the reservation date, for any reason, My Cat Nap Cottage shall suffer losses that are difficult to ascertain and as such, Client agrees that, in the event of cancellation by Client, such $50/cat shall be forfeited by Client and paid to My Cat Nap Cottage as liquidated damages and not as a penalty. Deposits can be saved to your account to be used for up to three months from the first reservation if changes are made to the reservation. All prices are at a discounted cash/check rate. Client and My Cat Nap Cottage agree with policy upon credit card authorization or receipt of non-discounted deposit that such amount is reasonable and fair policy. All reservations 14+ days may require 50% deposit at drop-off and 50% at pick up. We understand plans can change at the last minute and we try to be as flexible as possible. Reminder: It is the pet owners responsibility to have their pet on monthly flea treatment.
