BOARDING PAW-LICIES

All policies can be found in our agreements on the client portal and will be emailed to you after signing. Agreements may also be sent to you to sign via text message upon request.

FELINE PAW-LICIES

  • All cats must be up to date on Rabies and FVRCP vaccines.

    • Kittens must be 16 weeks of age or have received all FVRCP boosters and Rabies vaccines (fully vaccinated)​

    • Elderly cats or those with medical issues may be eligible for a vaccine waiver. Talk with your veterinarian.

    • Documentation must be on file from your veterinarian prior to boarding.

    • ​If they are overdue by 3 years or more, they may need a booster for the FVRCP and they will need their vaccinations at least 5 days before boarding. Talk with your veterinarian.

    • Vaccines may not be given the same day of drop off due to possible vaccine reactions.

  • All cats must arrive and depart in a carrier or on a leash.

    • We have a busy street out front and it is for their safety.

  • A flea check will be done on all cats upon arrival. ​

    • If fleas/flea dirt are found:​

      • There is a $50 cleaning fee/room booked.​

      • There is a $20 CapStar pill administration per cat to kill any live fleas within 24 hours - extra doses may be needed

      • You cats will be isolated to their rooms and done last

    • It is your responsibility to keep your cat on a flea and tick preventative whether they are indoor or outdoor - this is your decision and while we've never had a cat go home with fleas, we are not responsible should it happen

  • If your cat is coughing or sneezing we maintain the right to receive medical records from your veterinarian for medical diagnoses such as allergies or asthma.

    • If we find that your cat has been recently treated for signs of an URI (upper respiratory infection), your cat will be placed in a condo for isolation and your emergency contact will be called to pick up the cat early. You will still be charged 50% of the remainder of your reservation.​

    • If we notice signs of URI at drop off you will be turned away and you will need to seek veterinary care and/or a pet sitter.

  • If your cat is on a prescription or kitten diet and/or medication you must bring enough for their stay plus extra in case a change in plan occurs on your end.

    • Cats with diabetes and hyperthyroid will need to have been on the same dose of medication for at least 2 weeks before boarding due to possible secondary complications that may be exacerbated by stress.​

CLIENT PAW-LICIES

  • ​​Drop offs and pickups may only be schedule within available appointment hours.

    • Pick up after 12pm starts the next night of boarding fees (just like a hotel, but for cats!)​

    • If you come outside of available appointment hours, you will be charged a $15 out of hours fee. No appointments are accepted after 5pm M-F, 12pm Saturdays, Sundays or major holidays.

  • Boarding Reservation Deposits:

    • A $50 non-refundable deposit per suite/condo is required to hold your reservations for:

    • First Time Visitors and Holiday Weekends: Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Eve

    • If you must change or cancel your reservation, deposits may be used for up to 3 months from the original drop off date, unless cancelled within 48 hours of the reservation, in which the deposit will be forfeited.

    • Deposits will be applied to your account upon pickup​ 

    • We do not charge a transaction fee for deposits paid by phone. You can decide how to pay at pick up if you would like the cash/check discounted prices reflected in the pricing chart.

  • All reservations 14+ days may require a 50% deposit at drop-off and 50% at pick up.
