  • Your cat must have had a veterinary exam in the last 12 months

    • If you cat has a known medical issue (hyperthyroid, HCM, diabetes, etc.) or is over 13 years of age, we may require consent to groom from your veterinarian signed within the past 3 months. You will also be required to sign our "At Risk" Waiver.​

  • Your cat must be current on Rabies and FVRCP vaccines

    • Your veterinarian may decide to provide a vaccine waiver due to age or health conditions, which is also valid.​

  • If fleas are found at drop-off you may be required to cancel your appointment, pay the full charge of services booked, and treat for fleas with a flea and tick preventative provided by your veterinarian before returning.

    • You will be able to schedule a new grooming appointment once proof of treatment by your veterinarian is shown. Our goal is to keep all cats in the building flea-free.

    • It is your responsibility to have your cat on a flea and tick preventative although it is not requirement.

  • Your cat must be in good health upon arrival (no transmittable illnesses or parasites)

  • A complimentary assessment is required for all first-time grooms.

  • No deposit is required, however, all appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours will be charged the full amount of the service booked. 

    • A non-refundable deposit of $50 may be required to book a future appointment at the groomer's discretion.
    • If three appointments are cancelled consecutively, no future appointments will be granted.
    • Cancellations/no shows include but are not limited to: not being able to find/capture your cat, a last-minute change of plans/heart, a cat arriving with transmittable diseases/parasites, and arriving more than 15 minutes past your scheduled drop off time. Unfortunately, we cannot fill your reservation slot with such short notice, have planned our schedules around these appointments, and have other appointments throughout the day to consider for time.

  • Clients must read all waivers on the client portal before dropping off their cat for grooming. It is not our responsibility if you have not fully read the agreements. If you cannot access your client portal, please call us (941-833-2287) or send us an email at mycatnapcottage@gmail.com and we will be happy to send you the agreements to sign by text message.

  • All cats must be picked up within 1 hour of receiving the "ready for pickup" message unless otherwise stated.

    • Grooming appointments do not include boarding. A late fee of $15 will incur if your cat is picked up more than 1 hour after their groom has finished. If your cat is picked up more than 3 hours late you will be charged a boarding fee of $30 for the day/night for a condo space. The boarding facility closes at 5:30pm and arrangements will be made to pick up your cat the following morning, if they are not picked up by 5:30pm.
